They are all the same thing.

One percent.

Skim.

Homogenized.

Evaporated.

Condensed.

Sweetened.

Vitamin D added.

Whole.

Nothing left but the cream.

Permissive Parenting is said to be the worst

Giving in to your child when they throw that tantrum.

What happens when you do it just so you can have that 10 minute break?

Sometimes parents get worn out.

Sometimes they make mistakes.

She is difficult.

They are too proud.

Arrogant is not said

but implied in the criticism.

Who can say much

when the insult is tactfully given.

By pointing out

the transgression

you are labeled even more temperamental.

Being yourself

can be difficult in today’s world.

Pulp or not to pulp?

Normally I don’t care.

Except when I add the ginger ale.

Then it needs to be no pulp

Or the punch gets all fizzy and weird.

The nose itches

but the sneeze does not come.

The body promises

but no action is done.

The mind swirls

and focus is gone.

Promises physical

that are lost and not won.

So, sit on the waste disposal

and maybe someday it will drop.

Trying to fall asleep

Awake until 3 am.

Next night

fall asleep

then wake up at 3 am.

My body needs to sleep

yet somehow

it is refusing to do so.

The mouth burns.

The tongue dies.

Eyes overflow from the tears.

Your face weeps.

Bland may be boring.

At least it allows me to keep my lips.

Shedding occurs.

Hair is found everywhere.

Vacuuming should be done daily.

Yet, I can’t blame the cats completely

when most of the hair I find is my own.

The love of the game

is the ultimate thrill.

Whoever wins or loses

doesn’t matter.

It is the fun and the companionship

that you receive that makes them so special.

So, discovering new ones

is the ultimate fun.

Either unboxing them

or playing them.

Because sometimes you might just

discover a new favorite along the way.

When the nightmare

is more of a sad mare

because of all the horrible

negative self-talk in your head.

Weeping upon waking

is just so disappointing.

Worse, it just won’t go away.
