Some come in the form of a pill.
Others find themselves a liquid.
Disguised as a scent they waft.
Recently, they have been alternative.
Yet unsurprising they are still necessary.
The cycle of life will continue
and so will our need to cure ills.
Just remember, experts are here for a reason.
Listen to them.
Our doctors know our health better than some.
Find one you trust
and your faith will be rewarded.

Two different things.

So instead of without regret
maybe we should say
I hope they died in peace with themselves
from choices they thought were made
to be good ones.
Or ones that they regret as bad
but sought to make amends for.
Philosophy calls for us to think
as logic follows.
Dreamers such as I merely want to dream.
A way of life for some.
A dietary necessity for others.
Taboo for ones like me.
Religious reasons aside
my digestion renders it indigestible for me.
So pork bacon is out
and turkey bacon is in!
Coffee every morning.
Sleeping in late.
One piece of chocolate.

Scrolling the news sites.
Reading a web comic.
Playing a video game ALL DAY!!
This is not a classroom.
Real life means real problems.
Still, between budgeting
and appointments
little slips of paper are used.
Even office memos need notes.
I wonder what IRL means these days?
Eyes blurry
Light blinding
Feeling weary
TV grinding
News hurry
Heart yearning
Story’s journey
Anger burning
Great feeling
Sleep returning
Simple right.
No eating
or drinking
when at the computer.

Oh the coffee?
Did not even notice it was in my hands when I sat down.
So automatically does it come with me.
Crackers are snacks.
Surely snacks are allowed.

Sigh, alright.
No more food at the keyboard.
But I am keeping my coffee!
