Rough Week

Mentally able I can do all the chores.

Physically my body rebels at my abilities.

This dichotomy has me frustrated

since I still do the physical chores

and eschew the mental ones.

Just whining and complaining and hoping

somebody else would step in and help.

Friendship

People change

and grow

sometimes together,

sometimes apart.

The ones that still

love you

no matter who you are

are the truest friends

a person could have.

For years to come

cherish them

for they are the true treasure of your life.

Fog Shrouded Morning

The Indescribable beauty of the fog

that wrapped the world this morning.

The peaceful stillness

that lay upon this Earth.

The quiet routine of those

getting ready for their day.

Somedays you are blessed

with beauties known

and other times

ones that  you learn to appreciate

in their rarity.

Pets Get It

If you hit them

they will flinch

the next time you try to pet them.

If you only love them

even if they mess things up

they will only love you in return!

Or in this case step om ,y ke0yboooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Weekend Girlfriend

Am I okay with being a temporary fling?

When I see the potential of so much more between us?

We feel right together.

Yet there are problems.

There are always problems.

Are these problems insurmountable or just annoying?

Should I push to have these worked out

or just ignore them and stay with the status quo?

Once in Awhile

I get surprised.

An event happens

that I was not expecting.

A generosity, a hug or even a smile

to make my life better.

Though sometimes things happen

that try to ruin my day.

If I let them

I get into a bad mood.

So instead I try to see the positive in the negative.

Or like my cats if there is a glass half full

I’ll just push it off the table.

The Hair Brush

A stick with bristles

to smooth out the knots.

A thing that works so simply.

Fur or hair or yarn,

even plastic wigs and hair extensions.

A trick used through out all our times.

To comb through matted fur

or wipe off a stubborn dirty spot

brushes are here to stay.

If you have hair, a brush is a must.
