Lying in bed almost asleep.

Imagining a different world.

Helping a neighbour bring in groceries.

Laughing and smiling.

Running away.

As a chance to finally fulfil life.

Progress has been made.

Delays happen.

Set backs occur.

Things are dealt with.

One more step in this journey.

Only when it is over

can the results be conclusive.

Until then,

work will always be needed.

I don’t want to fight.

Every morning.

Some weeks

all I want is a simple

errand done.

Reasoning with other human beings

can be exhausting.

There was fun to be had.

Things forgotten.

Time alone to think.

Reflection back to self.

Friends cheered up.

Puzzles solved.

Refreshed and almost ready for the upcoming week.

A mountain.

A swamp.

A bayou.

An ocean.
