It doesn’t matter what time you went to bed,
Partying all night long.
It doesn’t matter what you feel like.
Hangover or not.
All that matters is that you wake up on time
so that the cats can be fed.
It doesn’t matter what time you went to bed,
Partying all night long.
It doesn’t matter what you feel like.
Hangover or not.
All that matters is that you wake up on time
so that the cats can be fed.
We all want a healthy planet.
Future generations depend on us.
Yet health choices force us to sterilize everything
and place food, medicine and almost everything
into plastic wrapped single use containers.
So how do we help the environment
if we can not avoid
the tremendous usage of this plastic?
We have learned caution in our wearing of masks
yet we still have disposable ones.
What threat is greater?
Our loss of healthy societies that can function?
Or the loss of our planet?
Are you willing to take the risk?
Is it in your best interest?
Do you think you can handle the consequences?
If only you knew the expiration date!
I’m a bad person.
I have an assiction.
It causes me to withdraw from those around me.
It makes me irritable should I not get it.
I’m a bad person.
One who has poor impulse control.
Yet my addiction is always accessible
and according to those around me
I should be the one in control.
I’m a bad person.
I don’t want a hippopotamus for Christmas.
I don’t want a hungry, hungry hippo.
I don’t want to watch the birds ride the hippos back in the river.
But mostly I don’t want them to fart when I’m at the zoo after they’ve just eaten.
You wake up late.
The other residents complain.
They get fed and watered.
You switch on the electronic devices.
Immersed in the scrolling pictures
Time is lost.
You finally check the time when one of the felines
curls up on your chest
and reminds you it is time to go to bed.
That day I was born.
My parents took me home.
I was raised in a large home.
Not much money
but love was there.
I was the last child born.
Yet, today I feel like I accomplished something.
It is a milestone and one that I plan on enjoying.
Verbal ramblings
may garner others
fame and fortune.
I prefer written
where others may interpret
as they so desire.
Also no one
has to listen
to my voice.
Fat Primordial Blues.
Transcontinental Fools.
Fed Inconsequential Ooze.
Sneak Residential Tools.
Yesterday’s Tomorrow Cruise.
Freezing Lava Schools.
La la le do.
I got the gift early.
It is adorable.
Tiny and cute.
Just big enough for your hand to curl around it.
Fingers stay in place while holding it.
I will need to thank my friend.
It is a very welcome gift.
