I am not usually tired.

I will crawl into bed

because an insistent meow demands she cuddles with me.

The past is gone.

The glory days are over.

No one is immune to change.

We all want comfort.

Things are not going to return to yesterday’s average.

The future is scarier than when I was a kid.

Now I know why time is unforgiving.

Dealing with the uncertainty is the new normal.

It serves no purpose.

People seek meaning in useless things.

There is no truth in a poem.

Everyone sees something different.

That is the point.

One that calls for art to be defunded

as they hang pictures on the walls

and listen to the music on the radio.

Overwhelmed.

Frustrated.

Despairing the year started like this.

Of course, things can always get worse.

Try to stay positive.

Positivity can be so hard sometimes.

Must play.

Must play now.

No, cannot wait!

Must play!

Everything else can wait.

Must play.

Now!

No need to be flashy.

Chance to be average.

Give your self a break.

Take care to not make waves.

Too much pressure causes stress.

Focus on the present and do as much to be a person of non-interest.

Sit down.

Steaming mug.

Cat crawls into arms.

Refuses to leave.

Stuck cuddling while the hot chocolate cools.

Things you might not notice

will seemingly randomly happen.

Mainly because the universe

is chaotic.

You can either fight it

or accept it.

One will be happier when life throws the curveballs

and you can dodge them.

If you are lucky

you can bat them back full swing.

Living creates friction.

People move, breathe, live.

Actions have consequences.

Deterioration will happen.

Maintaining something special

takes effort

and time.

The strength involved can be tremendous.

Wishing as your main source for circumstances being solved

may come at a price that costs too much.
