When something goes missing
you finally realize how much you love it.
Let it go long enough
and you will find yourself needing it less and less.
Unless it is the Internet
then the kids scream bloody murder
until it is returned full force!
When something goes missing
you finally realize how much you love it.
Let it go long enough
and you will find yourself needing it less and less.
Unless it is the Internet
then the kids scream bloody murder
until it is returned full force!
The night before was exciting.
This morning all I want to do is sleep.
Instead the world insists on giving me more chores.
Life goes on and so do I.
Hopefully someday soon I will get a rest.
Until then I will continue on living
And doing the things needed to be done.
Add in cookies and you have a threesome of deliciousness.
Also your doom!
The chocolate and cookies taste great.
The coffee helps wash it down.
The stomach churns from the sweetness
while the mouth still craves more!
You can not stop eating
and yet the head knows the pain that will come later!
So in conclusion know your vices well
and pace them out!
My life is filled with things to do.
There is also all the stuff that needs to be done.
As well as the things that need to be cleaned
or the stuff that accumulates over time.
What to do with it all.
Sometimes purging it all is a good thing.
My hoarder instincts are fought against
and my world is better for being able to see
the things that need to be worked on.
So I do the Stuff and Things that allow me to
continue being able to do stuff and things!
Halloween is coming!
No costumes are made yet!
What am I going to do?
Something cat themed!
Or a dragon theme?
The child is undecided.
Sigh, time to visit the second hand stores
to see what can be cobbled together.
Last minute.
Like usual.
A purr and face rub as you wipe the sleep from your eyes.
Furry bodies lying on you as you slowly wake up.
The demands of the felines always take precedence,
but you lie there enjoying their company, for awhile.
Down the stairs you go with them racing ahead.
Filling their food bowls as they rub eagerly against you.
Purrs resounding as they consume their breakfast.
Next is your desires and a cup of coffee is made.
A sip and you sit on the couch happily content.
If you are lucky one of them joins you
and you know this morning you have blessed.
I blew glitter over their body
as they were lowered into the ground.
It was no longer a festival
or a party to express our freedom.
It was not a funeral but a burial.
The difference being no one else wanted to remember them.
The others gathered round stood by patiently
waiting until duty had been observed.
The tears slightly strained
but the grief of their selfishness was palpable.
They were not to be blamed.
Just like the one lowered was not to be blamed.
To everyone else but me
it was a relief and not a tragedy
Deep dark morning thoughts weighing heavy.
Take a bite and yumminess wins.
Take another bite and a smile begins!
Darkness chased away as the food delights.
A good morning breakfast as everything lights.
As the sun comes up I finish my muffin.
Ready for the day I wonder at what it will bring.
To help those who need it most.
That is an act of forgiveness.
To love them despite the inadequacies of your heart.
No one deserves to be hated, though many are.
The greatest sign you are a better person
is when you learn to love yourself.
So delegate your time and use it wisely
for some day you may be the one in need!
I was never taught to believe in myself.
Always do the practical things,
Never be adventurous or bold.
My brothers were taught differently.
Be the breadwinners, take care of your family,
Prove your worth to society.
I was to find a breadwinner
Someone to take care of me.
Instead I chose wrong
and now I must be the one who takes care of everyone else.
