Green leafy things.

Fruits of all sorts.

Legumes of the world.

Screams of the vegetables

echoed in the screams of the meat.

We all need to survive.

Which way is more humane?

We all talk about animal cruelty

but is it the ones who hurt or kill them to blame?

Meat fuels our bodies

and I have seen humane ways of killing.

After all, the guillotine was meant to reduce suffering for those who had to be executed.

Still I understand.

Your choices are not mine.

I will choose to respect them.

You look fabulous today.

You are an amazing person.

I love your laugh.

Your work looks great.

Well done!

Waffles aside.

Syrup golden.

Butter melted.

Fluffy thick.

Spread thin.

Four or five stacked.

What a delicious begin.

Reminders are given.

It has come to the fore.

Dealing with it

could be done.

But laziness makes it

not fun.

So tomorrow.

Procrastination wins.

Tomorrow will come and deal with it then.

It’s just a snack right.

Not actually breakfast.

Only a few cookies.

It’s like having a donut right?

Donuts can be for breakfast.

So can cold pizza

but I don’t have pizza right now.

Just the cookies.

Or I could have leftover rice?

I care.

I am depressed.

I do not care.

I get better.

I find a good situation happening.

I hope.

I have a set back.

I lose hope.

I get depressed again.

I have friends check in on me.

I get back up.

I care.

I find myself falling too often but I am too scared to reach out.

Feels so weird.

Walking the aisles.

Seeing other people.

Wearing a mask.

Trying to not touch something another has.

Then using the sanitizer after all the groceries are in the car.

Normal is so strange these days.

She is known by many names

and visits over half of the human population.

I was hoping to be further spared her visits

since I am now at that Age.

Yet she still persists on coming.

And so I must go get more hygiene

to help clean up the messes she makes me make.

Someday she will leave me be.

Until then I can only endure her menstrual shenanigans

and pray that it will be a short one.

Drink it black.

Add no sugar.

Robust flavour.

I just want my creamer

and am currently out.

Is it deep enough?

Can the coyotes still get you?

How many exits do you have?

Are the trolls still living there?

Can you ever emerge back into the sunshine?

Or are you stuck, scared deep down within the hole?
