My last offspring in regular school.

Next week they begin

the last 3 years of regular learning.

Life moves fast.

Sometimes I should pay more attention.

Then I wouldn’t be caught so off guard.

Sooner or later

Bills have to be paid.

It is the price exacted

for living in today’s society.

If you have no money

the streets become your home.

Sometimes all the right things

that you do to get by

are simply not enough.

The route is easy.

It is the motivation

that is the hard thing to work on.

It is always in the back

of the mind as you sit

staring mindlessly

at the computer screen

watching inane animal videos.

For Gamers this means

Unlimited tries.

For a limited amount of time.

As a gamer this is exciting.

If I have the time to take advantage of that offer.

As a philosopher or pragmatist

I can not help but wonder

Whose life they are giving away for free?

The peel of an orange.

The sunburnt skin that now flakes.

Dirty clothes off a toddler.

The layers of deception used to make people submissive.

The fog in my head as the pain clears from my eyes.

The drag racer as its car speeds through the streets.

Peel off the layer of the present bestowed.

Give thanks for the bell’s chime.

The delectable scent

of Coffee wafts through the pre-dawn light.

Only one who truly loves you

will bring you that wonderful mug

while you are still in bed.

This is not a phase that reverts back to menstruation.

It is wrong to think of it as a pause.

It is a joyous welcome from a burden nature placed on women.

It should be Menofinale.

Since it brings a freedom to those who no longer bleed each month.

Pre menopause is not fun.

But once through that time,

believe me,

your life begins anew.
