What’s to see?
Blurry outlines or far away skies.

Can we live without sight?

Yes.

But do we want to live without seeing?

Sometimes there are things we would rather not see

so not having your glasses

can be a good excuse.

Whether in the sea

or on land

every place is beautiful

and unique.

The corals are homes

and the beaches too.

The forest hold life

and we embrace the way nature should be.

Sewing up the teddy bear’s rear

So it no longer sits staring at me

day after day

with loose stuffing falling out.

Maybe someday

I will get around to actually repairing all the other items I have been putting off.

Even though the fires burn miles away,

just like when the tornado came,

fear creeps up and chokes my heart.

I wonder if this may truly affect me.

No longer pointing at the cats.

The spray hits me.

For a few seconds I have cooled down

in this awful heat.

Beautiful creature of the sea.

Funny looking to some.

Graceful to others.

I’m going to call this plushy

An apple has three layers.

The skin, the flesh and the seed.

Christian faith likens this to God.

Where the skin encompasses the whole.

The flesh is the main part representing the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the seed where faith sprouts from.

I do not know if I believe in the Christian God anymore

for I find myself being pushed away

by the extreme fanatics who claim

every one is the devil’s pawn

if they don’t conform to their social group’s lifestyle.

If so much hate is in this world

I do not wonder why Jesus weeps.

For loving one another means accepting everyone

for who they truly are.

I still have problems with this concept

but I know that just because they believe something different

does not mean they should be demonized.

Car Accident.

Infirm.

Disabled.

Old.

Violent Altercation.

Is it wrong to want to be on the receiving end

but not be the cause of it?

Wishing for a change in fortune

simply because you are numb otherwise.
