When it fails spectacularly
There is always consequences
Like people being angry
Or having to deal with mechanical problems
Most seem to forget
that sometimes it is not an excuse
but they use it anyway
When it fails spectacularly
There is always consequences
Like people being angry
Or having to deal with mechanical problems
Most seem to forget
that sometimes it is not an excuse
but they use it anyway
Things need to be done.
Time is running out!
Procrastination will only make it worse.
Yet I don’t feel like doing it.
Well, eventually it will get done.
Just, maybe, not today?
A cunning glance
That ominous wink
Before a small smirk
Gives a spiny chill
Hearsay gathers weight
Rumours are bounced around
And all is said before departure
Begins a new headline
No Answer
No Call
No Message
Nothing
What can I do when I have no idea?
Where do you go when you only have nothing?
Time travel is not an option
If it was the past is horrible place to start
Things have happened for a reason
Yet we all focus on what has been
Though it affects what will chance upon us
We can only change our path
as new obstacles are blocking our steps
And remember the lessons learned
not repeat the same mistakes
Where it is only a panic attack
Nothing significant
People on the transit
fighting behind me
Crowded bus so I can not move
The bus driver tries to intervene
No one listens to him
People do not understand
the impact on others
because they only think of themselves
Long weekend is over
Time to get back to school routine
Open the lunch box
and there is a smell
Looks like someone
forgot to clean it out last Friday
I don’t meant the one at the end of the bar
He is used to the ones society has already placed upon him
Though starting with him could be an option
If you thought you could convince him that society is wrong
But challenging the fundamentals of his world
may cause him and those around him to dislike you
or even hate you
So begin wherever you wish
and take care that you may no longer be welcomed at that bar
Sometimes it is not enough
Sometimes it is too much
Other times it is broken
Or troubled and therefore not restful
Sometimes it is hard to fall asleep
Other times it is hard to stay awake
Most times it is because the routine is broken
But sleep will eventually come for us all.
The depression weighs down heavily
It is like a curtain that cannot be moved
Keeping the dark in
and blocking the sight of all good things
If it moves just a fraction, a sliver
and an eye shows through
Someone is looking
searching
hoping
that life is still behind the curtain
and that if nothing else
you will live for them
and the hope they hold out for you.
