Don’t you know how insufferable

The things you say are?

Yes,

But you don’t have to read my poems.

Tired.

Clean up time.

Without realizing

Hands begin to start

Putting the components away.

Laugh and say

This can be finished later.

Yet,

One more task.

Small things are done.

After this I’ll stop.

Keep going.

More things are cleaned up.

Then at the end,

Despite the exhaustion

Satisfaction envelops you

Because that is one less task for later.

It is not wrong

to run away or

leave a situation

that is bad.

What is true cowardice

is to know what is happening

and then just watch

as it continues to progress.

We have a choice.

We can help the victims

or merely turn a blind eye to it.

Swing high.

As high as you can.

Dare to dream.

That way when you miss

you are not scrapped raw

from the descent.

Expectations are high.

Errands are all mapped out.

One thing springs the socket

and all the chaos ensues.

So on to plan B.

Just try to survive the day.

You live in such filth

why bother washing hands

after you pet an animal outside?

My filth I am used to.

Foreign filth

needs to be washed away.

Choose the rice!

Bread is down

When you need to get it done.

Yet you push it off until tomorrow.

One more day won’t hurt.

So maybe today it will get done?
