Desperation Hides
Desperation hides behind a smile
fake and bright.
Depression sneaks in
and turns away the light.
Anxiety causes more trouble
never to be shared.
Suicide is not the answer
your loved ones, they care.
Desperate people lose
mistakes always made.
Desperation causes carelessness
or at least misunderstanding
I love you.
Simple.
Plain.
and easy to understand.

Respecting Others
Words convey
what actions do.
Grabbing and pulling
scare the one grabbed.
Chasing them
can be just as bad.
Waiting calmly
for them to come to you
shows true respect
in all you do.
Snuggles
Wrapped up by love.
The warmth of another.
Contentment with the world.
and the threat of falling asleep.
All is better
when you are snuggled up against
someone who loves you!
Radish
Tart and crunchy.
Great for flavour.
