Our capacity for love
is an unlimited pool.
We always have room
for more.
You even have the capacity
to love someone
without even liking them.
Figure out who you love.
It may surprise you.

The plans are in the making.
The details have been looked into.
The date has been booked.
What needs to happen now?
Everyone has been told.
The invitations have been given.
The expectations are noted explicitly.
Waiting for replies is the hardest part!
The time went so fast!
All the things needed to be done!
All the fun that had to happen!
Swirling around busy as busy can be.
Something was forgotten.
Maybe two or three…
but memory reminds and the day was not wasted.
Lost to the pressures of things to be done
but useful and happy it has been.
Children love to eat the candy.
Sweets and other treats delight them.
When does it become too sweet to eat?
If you listen to your bodies and not your feelings
you will hear that treats are exactly that – treats!
Too many sweets and stomach aches later
the lesson is learned.
Except for chocolate!
I will always have room chocolate!
Watching them as they learn the hard way.
Sympathizing with their frustrations.
Letting them experience what you already learned.
Words have a huge impact but nothing
prepares them more for the world
then letting them learn first hand what life is actually like.
It breaks the heart as they figure things out
but you can only prepare them for so little.
The rest is up to them!
I did not give my other regrets a chance.
I walked away from opportunities.
I allowed Fear to take control.
When life presented itself in uncomfortable ways
I hesitated to leave my comfort zone.
Now older and more bitter I try to leave those regrets behind.
My comfort zone has expanded because sometimes
I would push it out.
Sometimes I did not let fear take over
and stop me.
Sometimes I still look for opportunities
because I can still do so many things!
Appointment season is upon us.
Getting from one to another.
Juggling all the times and places
needed to be visited is exhausting.
So is rescheduling when one
is accidentally missed or planned wrong.
It is even worse when meals are forgotten in between!
Excitement through and through.
Fear underlying the surprise.
Getting ready for the day.
Everything that can be packed is in the backpack.
Standing for the bus.
Wave good-bye and see you later!
Guilt is not worth the time spent
yet it can be a constant reminder.
Promises can sometimes be broken
even when the best intentions prevail.
Time spent with loved ones
can overcome any harm,
if belief in yourself can be found.
Otherwise give yourself a break
and love the one that matters most.
Nobody can take you away from yourself!
Keep trying and fail at life challenges
for they will be the stories taught to the future!
You know when you are an introvert
when although you love someone
or someone’s
all you truly crave is time by yourself.
That time to reflect,
relax and
just enjoy your center.
That being at the core of you!
The one who smiles warmly
every time you meet
or comforts you
when you feel sad.
I love my family and friends
but by myself
is when I truly feel loved!
