Vacations are fun
But now they are over
The airplane is waiting
To take me back home
The memories made
The friends old and new
Will tide me over until the next time
I get blue
Vacations are fun
But now they are over
The airplane is waiting
To take me back home
The memories made
The friends old and new
Will tide me over until the next time
I get blue
Socially Anxious
Scared
But fascinated
Watching
Wanting
Unable to ask
Greeting
Or Fleeing
Warring within
Fear
Desperation
Sometimes win
The battles are all in mind
I fight every day for sanity
Any semblance of normalcy
My anxiety sends surprise raids
While my nerves betray me
The chemicals of mind
Unbalance my emotional state
As I struggle to get to my feet
I know my name
And before it is lost
I will shout it out
So others will take it over
And that is how I hope to leave a legacy
Sometimes I dream
Other times I wander
Often I return
And vaguely do I remember
But most of the time
Heaven is hell bent
When a constant changes
and you have to figure why.
The worst is trying to figure out
what to do with the new dilemma.
Everything you want to do
makes everything worse.
And the worse it gets
the crazier the dream
until finally
you wake up
and still have
five hours
of the night to supposedly rest.
Obviously,
you won’t be dreaming.
The extremes.
The thrills.
The chance of failure.
All of it builds
and yet it does nothing to satisfy
the craving of adventure
Where will it end?
Even death is no longer a morbid factor
when every decision made
is based on whether life could be lost or not.
So adrenaline seekers continue
to push their mortal envelopes
and the ones in their boxes of comfort
watch inexporably.
When it fails spectacularly
There is always consequences
Like people being angry
Or having to deal with mechanical problems
Most seem to forget
that sometimes it is not an excuse
but they use it anyway
Things need to be done.
Time is running out!
Procrastination will only make it worse.
Yet I don’t feel like doing it.
Well, eventually it will get done.
Just, maybe, not today?
A cunning glance
That ominous wink
Before a small smirk
Gives a spiny chill
Hearsay gathers weight
Rumours are bounced around
And all is said before departure
Begins a new headline
No Answer
No Call
No Message
Nothing
What can I do when I have no idea?
Where do you go when you only have nothing?
