This paradise vacation is not worth it.

or the mouse
or any thing near my computer
after eating her ice cream
and not having washed her hands first!
It can be a problem solver
if you do not have the time
energy or the knowledge.
Information can be found
when money is present
but so can misinformation
from people
who do not
have your best interests at heart.
Also penny pinching
only makes you pinched
and worried about what might happen.
Scrimping and saving can be fun
when you get the reward.
But what reward can money buy
that tops friends and family?
No one is given time
To be a good person
When colour is blind.
See your friends
And know their hearts.
For as was said
Belonging to a group
That excludes specifics
Makes you implicit in their sins.
When the word gets out
you will be in high demand.
Your ability to withstand
any hardships will be lauded.
Until then face the trauma’s
and survive.
You won’t know what you are capable of
until you see the other side.
Fall comes earlier
as does spring.
Winter does not last as long
nor does summer.
Where do we go when the weather
is no longer normal in its behavior?
Or does our climate not matter?
Middle of summer and that cool breeze is blowing in already.
The leaves are not turning colour
and the morning dew dries up quickly in the sun.
Yet the days are colder and the months seem shorter.
I wonder if it is just me
or if this is in correlation with an early spring?
I can still sit outside in the morning and sip my coffee
and that is good enough for me!
Things are constantly changing.
People grow up
get older
and still society remains the same.
Universal truths
that the new generation have it easy
are lazy and do not understand their elders.
Always spouted
but the next set of adults will be our future leaders
if we give them time.
This not normal
and I know why!
Unless they are
hard boiled
it is not easy to try.
Still scramble or fried
if no other utensils
are available
necessity allows
you to use the one you find!
The dollars and cents
do not amount to much these days.
Temperatures range out of the comfortable
or even the livable levels.
People mingle while still trying
to maintain the social distances required.
Degrees of success
or simply a turnaround?
Days counted since the last time
you actually touched another human.
Times you have prayed or beseeched
a higher entity for these times to end.
Simply a number.
