As the parent

I must accept

that the child is my responsibility

yet her actions

are her own choosing.

How to differentiate them

is harder than it seems.

Some days,

like today,

I know where the fault lies.

So I will accept

my participation

in the ensuing chaos.

Tomorrow,

that is to be dealt with

tomorrow.
