Bullies love to intimidate.
They like to harass their prey.
Standing up to them takes courage.
Calling them out may seem pointless
yet it effectively showcases their aim.
I wonder what the bully feels
that made him into one in the first place.
Everything has gone wrong.
The fight today is no longer about a better life.
It is trying to survive a maelstrom of immediate threats
only to find out surviving might not be the best thing after all.
Yet succumbing is never an option
for the bully will only find a new target and move on.
