Stinky House

It is amazing how much

the smell of garbage not taken out

can fill the air!

Gone for a day and the child

has not done the one chore

so rotten leftovers overpower the nose.

Windows would be opened

if not for the rain

though the smell is bad enough

that might just be the only option left.

Where’d I put the Air Freshener?
