The sugar infused
highly charged
ready to explode
child of the previous nights
All Hallow’s Eve.
Thankfully I have
the other parental unit
to hand them off to.
I wave good-bye
and silently watch
the drama enfold
snickering knowing my weekend
will be sugar free.
