Inside the flation

Is famation

and In that is

a record of carceration.

Who is in the formation of the In?

An interesting term

when applied to antibiotics.

It is true.

Essentially,

They discover the infection.

Then destroy it.

Helping you to recover from the wound.

So hand me my bottle of disinfectant pills.

The only way to get rid of temptation

is to give in to it.

Except that some temptations

are more dangerous than others.

So try as I might

the bag of chips is slowly dwindling.

Corrosive.

Sore.

Ugly.

Sickness unbound.

If no one treats it soon enough, it will grow.

It Spreads and debilitates the system.

Sometimes it can be cured.

Other times…

It is fatal.

The rule is over.

Reigning for a long time.

Yet, amidst the celebrations

No one looked at the ground

She trod upon.

She was just a woman

and now her time has come.

Fictional or real

Her impact will live on.

The game shows the work involved

In running a kingdom.

Now the game has ended

And I mourn my characters last breath.

Life is different

when I am with him.

Things are happier.

More joy is found.

Chores no longer seem tiring.

But life is not fair

and he can only visit.

And I cannot stay with him.

Lumbar props.

Arm rests.

Foot stools.

Things people who have money

or connections can afford.

The rest of us

Improvise or simply suffer.

We want it.

We need it.

It helps with the necessities of life.

We want more.

We think we need more.

More than we need to survive.

More to see no one else

has power over us

because they see we want money.

It is held over our heads

like a dream out of reach.

Yet we still grab for it.

Greedy?

Or simply habit?

When epiphany awakes.

You realize just what you dread.

the words finally find you.

You can make them said.

Acknowledge them

and then maybe

just maybe

you can address it

and find a way to conquer it.

At a time

Of uncertainty.

Remorse dwells deep.

Fear inculcates hatred.

Suspicion leads to anger.

Mistrust wipes out hope.

Yet hope remains.

It is stronger than most people realize.
