Someday I’ll be famous!
I’ll win the lottery
and give it all away!
My personality will be winsome
and people will love me.
Gracious and lovely
I’ll grace all magazine covers!
Someday!
Someday I’ll be famous!
I’ll win the lottery
and give it all away!
My personality will be winsome

Gracious and lovely
I’ll grace all magazine covers!
Someday!
Do
or Do Not.
There is no try.
Yet we ask kids to try
all the time?
Who is wrong?
You can not do something
if you have not first tried it.
Sometimes it takes a few tries.
But practicing is all about trying
so do or not do
does not always work.
Though often our attempts
will be done or not done.
Especially when chores are involved!
Should I send my sick child to school?
Should I infect the other children
just so I can get some peace at home?
Should I keep the sick one home
and deal with the fact that they have energy?
Are they still contagious?
I go to work sick
but that’s because I need the money.
Adults do not get the luxury of staying home while sick.
So do I force reality upon my sick child
or indulge them and let them stay home?
All know is I have no energy to fight the tantrum.
Not today.
Maybe tomorrow.
The sprouts have grown.
We will have to transplant soon.
The mother’s day gift is growing.
What a wonderful joy of life.
Let’s hope I can keep it alive!
What do you get for Mother’s day?
A phone call,
a house robe
or just a bouquet?
None of those are better
than the hug of a sick child.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Added inspiration to the lifeless.
Myths and Legends abound.
Quotes are given left and right
but the memes rule now!
Sugar Fly
Sugar Fly
Where do you roam?
I have no place
to call my home.
Fruit Fly
Fruit Fly
where do you go?
That’s an answer
I do not know.
Vampire Bat
Vampire Bat
Who do you see?
All the delectable bugs
for me to eat!
I can’t do it!
No!
You won’t make me do it!
What if I tried it
and don’t like it?!
What if you tried it
and you do like?
If you do not try
you will never know
if it is something
you like
or are even capable of!
Feelings of being overwhelmed.
Guilt at not doing more.
Options fading away.
Stress and anxiety building up.
More and more troubles surface.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I am supposed to get things done!
I have appointments!
My schedule says to get cleaning done!
Food needs to be cooked!
Personal Hygiene is important!
and I lay on the couch
sobbing and wondering how it will all get done!
It rained last night.
I made a cup of tea.
Sitting on the steps
listening to the city wake up
as I take a sip.
My cat sits beside me.
Some mornings are good.
I hope this one is one of them.
