Truth.

Tension.

Tights.

Men in tight tights.

Tutu’s.

Terrible puns.

Trellises.

Tantalizing tastes.

Toothpaste tubes.

Thoughts that go nowhere real.

No internet.

Other people around.

Good food.

Campfire burning.

Working on the site.

Painting the rafters.

Neck hurts.

Hide in my one person cabin.

Overwhelmed by socializing.

New normal still sucks.

But the weekend was fun.

The video was disturbing.

It made me cry.

The fur babies are in danger.

No more going outside.

To keep them safe

They will stay by my side.

Or on my lap.

Or on my chest.

Breathing fur means they are alive.

Waiting patiently

Until the victim comes close enough.

Keeping still

so as to not reveal oneself.

Sudden and quickly

the attack is launched.

Giggles and

laughter

as the pillow fight ensues.

Wrapped in warm blankets.

Hot chocolate in hand.

Coffee waiting near by.

Tea at the ready.

Fuzzy socks encase the feet.

Yet still the drizzling cold seeps into the bones.

The pitter patter.

Plop.

Drizzling sound amongst the leaves.

Cocooned in bed.

Warm and snug.

Some weekends are better than others.

That is what I hope for.

Errands to run.

Things to pack.

People to visit.

As I lay in bed playing on my ipad.

The time has come.

Do it?

Or change our mind?

Let fear conquer?

Or push the comfort zone?

Regret doing?

Or not doing?

One way to find out.

Make a decision.

Rattled

Thoughts sluggish

What to do

Go back to bed

Wake up for the day

Begin a solitaire game

Find the annoying noise

Feed the cats in hopes they will leave me alone

Cuddle with them

Brain still working slowly

but cuddles ❤

As a society

and as individuals

we have all learned

more about ourselves.

Such as

the planet is changing.

Also our need for plastic

and individually wrapped

products

has increased.

Our environments

are not always sterile

and yet

we pollute

because we can

not find ourselves

not wanting

that producr.

Whether it is fast food

or a simple utility item.

Like toothbrushes.
