Instead of walking around

stealing mail from the mailboxes

Some have decided

to use voice mail as a way to get your money.

So many phone calls

at all hours of the day.

So many that unless the phone number is known

Don’t pick up!

Structure provides reassurance.

So when one thing is changed

in the weekly schedule

It creates a dystopian feeling of loneliness.

To realize how much you miss seeing your friend

for that one weekly visit

Makes you understand

how truly important they are in your life.

Doing two things at once.

Drinking coffee

and cuddling your cat.

Copy that!

To be born

is a joyous experience.

That first breath

is a beautiful sound.

As the mother cries

when she looks upon her child

Nature becomes full

once more.

It is thicker

and more ornate

but it does not tarnish

like a true silver key would.

The spoon only stirs my coffee

and I definitely was not born with one.

Flown to the coop

and back to the moon.

Whatever shall become

of the smile’s return?

Do you wish to live without end

or drive into the sunsets bend?

The children are funny.

The adults are calm.

I am running

and the horses are drawn.

Go within peace

and the rest will follow.

All I wanted was some time alone.

To recover.

To heal.

Instead the news given

has driven me to the brink.

Don’t be surprised if I have run away.

Hopefully I will be back someday.

Always a strange situation.

Emotions run deep.

Or numbed by the shock.

This day and age

things are stranger

when in person contacts

are limited.

Video showings are not the same.

But if that is the way to go

Then so be it.

Boundaries are hard to understand.

Only when things are crossed

do we realize what that boundary was.

Countries have boundaries.

Some clearer than others.

Businesses have boundaries.

Some break them all the time.

People have boundaries.

Some are strictly enforced

while others are completely ignored.

The hardest part

is learning what boundaries

you should respect

and which ones need to be enforced.

Limits are there for a reason.

Being a walked over rug

will not make anyone happy.

What should I do?

I don’t want to be doing nothing.

But starting something

and then being interrupted

is very annoying.

So what to do.

Other than just sit and wait anxiously.
