The world closes in
and goes dark
as the fear and anxiety
begin to take hold.
Choosing a decision
to postpone the inevitable
makes that decision
even more stressful.
Asking for help
the hardest thing of all.
When is it okay to let pride
stand in your way
and when is it
going to make your life hell?
Nothing seems real anymore
yet nothing can change the way things are.
Still people fight on.
Take a moment
and see the world
once again
through eyes that see you
and all the struggles you endure.
