The world turns to keep the daylight longer.
Weather temperatures rise.
Slighlty.
Just enough to think you can forego mittens and a toque.
Then the wind whips around the corner to say hello
and you run home to avoid frostbite.
All the while,
a smile on your face as the sun shines down
warming your face
and your heart.
