He always has the best of intentions.
He means to follow through on what he says.
Yet, one thing or another prevents him from keeping his promise.
I have learned never to believe his words.
His actions are no better.
So when he says he will help,
he actually means he will watch me struggle
while giving advice that does no good.
I rage against his suggestions
because they are not what I need.
But then, that is why I left him.
He can never give me what I need or truly want
since he is incapable of doing the things he says he will.
I wish him well,
but if he continues to try to guilt trip me
over the children and COVID 19,
he will find out the hard way
why I no longer listen to him and his lies!
