You pet the fur
it is so silky.
The chin scratches
have them purring
with delight.
The length of the fur
does not matter.
All of them is so soft.
Though the ears
are a special kind of softness.
One which if you are privileged
enough to be allowed to touch
shows how soft
soft can be.
