It is interesting to note
how much one’s personality
is conveyed through their voice.
That is, until they lose it!
What would they have said?
Do you remember the cadences correctly?
The familiar phrases and pitch
all seem like a memory
as you stare into their face
and watch them mouth in frustration.
Nobody deserves this,
least of all a nation.
